Review:

I hate this tool so much, mostly from being forced to use it with clients in the past.

I have an immense bias against Wordpress, and it's frustrating user interface, but it's not a bad tool.

If you need a very complex website with all sorts of features, you CAN build it with Wordpress.

The plugins you can add on to the system will allow you to build pretty much any website imaginable.

Wordpress also has really great SEO, mainly because all the search engines are so comfortable with how it works and structures content.

But outside of those two compliments, I hate everything else. The UX, the UI, the pricing, and more.

I consider it, above all, legacy software. Because of how much the website builder space has exploded, you have so many more options.

Especially if you just need something simple up on the web, don't use Wordpress. And if you need something complex, and you're willing to learn a more modern tool, check out Framer or Webflow.
