WeWeb has a long setup time when you make an app, but it does cover some nice bases out the gate.

It sets up a database, storage, user authentication and auth pages, all upfront when you input your prompt.

But this did take a while, like 15 minute overall before I had something I could play with.

It even takes a while to publish your project - like a full minute.

The interface it built was a bit unimpressive, but the AI chat links to elements directly inside the text it serves, which is nice for keeping track of stuff.

It's got its own built-in database, you can publish on the free plan, and you can actually manually edit each component it creates!

You can drag and drop the components that are built, though it's mostly just re-ordering them in a column.

You can change the color and functionality of everything, and edit actions and workflows manually.

I actually like the amount of control you get - and you can do stuff like authentication and more.

Not bad. I like it. My only qualm was the design was a bit boring, and it seems hard to manually build in, so to build a decently attractive interface you're going to have to spend a lot of time tweaking and talking with the AI.

There were some design mistakes too, like invisible text.

Overall, decent!
