BetterMode is a robust community platform, but MAN is it expensive.

$500 per month is the STARTING plan. That's just inaccessible for anyone starting out.

And it's still pretty templatized, the structure for all the forums built on it are more or less the same.

You do get a good amount of customization, and it's got a lot of features like a feed, articles, discussion posts, chat, etc.

But nothing Discord doesn't do, it seems, besides maybe some advanced analytics and a custom domain.

I'm not super impressed with what's offered for the price, but it does look like a good system. I would never use it, but I wouldn't criticize you if you did.
