Airtable is surprisingly useful. If you need to organize data in a more structured way than Google Sheets typically allows, or you need to make databases super accessible and shareable, then Airtable tends to be the de-facto solution.
They have a nice free plan, you can send databases as calendars, as a series of cards, or embed them on websites.
They're a super important tool to the overall no code space, because they act as a back end for small scale web app builders like Noloco, Basefront, and many more. They integrate with practically every tool on the market, they have built in automations, and you can even build internal apps with Airtable itself now.
If you have a specific use case in mind, like building an app or a product, then there are usually better tools on the market. But if you need to get data up on the Internet and get it out into the world, they are what I would recommend to start.
EDIT: I didn't do them justice - they do a lot more. They have a very easy-to-use interface (internal tool) builder, forms for collecting data, and tons of automation features. All of this is on the free plan, it's fabulous.
If you need something simple to manage data, and build infrastructure around that data, Airtable is great.
